Pilates

Do you want to improve the way your body looks and feels, develop stronger core muscles, become more flexible and suffer less from back and joint pain?

Pilates, based on the method developed by Joseph H. Pilates in the 1920s, is an exercise system focused on improving flexibility and strength for the whole body. It is gentle, progressive and delivers these benefits and many, many more.

£4 per class to pay as you go or £4 per session if you purchase a 10-class pass (£40).

Pilates exercises are performed on the floor (mats are provided but feel free to bring your own!). Participants wear comfortable clothing (not too loose) and bare feet (or socks, if you prefer).  All classes cater for mixed abilities as all the exercises can be adapted to suit your particular strengths or weaknesses.
